Camp moment

Click! Click! My harness was getting clicked in, I was ready to climb. I was told to enter the zone. I was clicked onto the rope and told to climb again. I tried to make it to the top.

Ahhh! I can't go any further the sweat was dripping into my mouth. I just gave up. That meant I had to wait till my next turn. When it was time to have another go I was up there but slipped. I could feel my hands getting blisters ahh! The top looked like half a meter away. I pushed the red button beeeeeep!!! I did it! I yelled “wahoo!” Now I was confident to do it again.

It was turn over so I went out and they took off my harness. While I was waiting I watched the archery until it was my turn again. I said it's easy and I started well. I felt like I was going faster, I was amazed that I already made the top 3 2 1 beep! I did it again wow! I’m so proud of myself now I'm going to try another wall... go!! I’m climbing, this one feels harder. I can feel the vibration of the button the air blowing in my face, I see tiny people on the ground far below. Beeeep!!!    

   Log cabin story

The cold damp path oozed through my muddy boots. Slowly I was moving towards the forest, I was getting hotter and hotter but the path was ending and getting more overgrown. It was getting more lumpy as the day went on. It was getting into the open and there I was in the forest looking around wondering where I would go. I decided to go the way where the insects and birds went. It was in the middle of nowhere but there was sun. I could see smoke about a mile away so I decided to head that way. I was beginning to smell something, it was getting stronger and muscular it smelt like food. I power walked as fast as I could and there it was, it was a log cabin. It was brown and mouldy. It had wetas everywhere but I didn't care as long as I got to eat. I opened the door...
